Our firm’s name takes inspiration from the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park, one of the founder’s favorite places in the world.
In addition to its unique beauty, the site is meaningful to our firm for its connection to the challenges our clients face. Upclose, it looks like a large but not particularly noteworthy orange-rust colored spring. But when you hike up to a viewpoint, a dramatic multi-colored spectacle is revealed. The lesson we carry with us: Something may look ordinary or insignificant from one perspective. But it could potentially be something very different and hugely significant if shown from an alternate point of view. Aaron Hinojosa has a strong execution track record with global operating and investment banking experience.
Aaron Hinojosa has a strong execution track record with global operating experience in the data services, automotive and P&C insurance industries as well as investment banking experience at JPMorgan focused on technology and media M&A and debt and equity capital raising. Aaron has advised emerging companies as they navigate strategic and operating challenges as well as prepare for potential capital raising and exits.
Aaron was the Chief of Staff to the founder, Chairman and CEO of Solera Holdings, the leading global provider of automotive data, software and services with operations in over 70 countries. In this role, he had extensive experience in executing business development initiatives with our global automotive and P&C insurance partners as well as working with local management teams to drive operational effectiveness, revenue and profitability. Aaron also took a leading role in crafting the company’s messaging and information flow to investors and in executing Solera’s capital market transactions including term loan and bond refinancings. Prior to his role as Chief of Staff, as Director of Corporate Development, he worked closely with local management in identifying the best positioned players in the market and helped execute key strategic deals in Western Europe. Prior to Solera, Aaron was in the investment bank at JPMorgan where he helped execute technology and media sell- and buy-side M&A and equity and debt financings.
Aaron holds an A.B. degree with honors from Harvard College and a MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Outside of professional pursuits, Aaron enjoys playing tennis, hiking, college football and good food and wine.
